Hi. I’m Michael ( pseudonym was taken from my idol – MellowD. I’ve been listening and talking about him so much, that his pen name sticked to me ).
I’m 37 and over 20 years of my life I’ve been listening to all the techno and house types, although period from 1995 to 1999 I take for the most productive for this music. Probably many performers are grounded on that time.
A few words about me and my passion.
My adventure with music began at the beginning of 90’s when access to the best pieces was bordered on a miracle. All news we were getting at the exchanges or satellite radio stations.
To me a major role was played by EVOSONIC.FM, SUNSHINE LIVE.FM and PHILOSOMATICA.FM. Those were the stations playing 90 percents live sa that was a time when Trance and it’s types such as psychodelic trance, hard trance, acid trance and lately modern although more and more commercialised trance uplifting - possesed me to rest.
When it comes to perfofmers – I can’t miss such a geniusues as Moguai, Kai Tracid, MellowD, Woody Van Eyden, Tomcraft or Cosmic Gate.
Music in my life has always been taking a special place. Starting from elementary, where I’ve always been leading partys with my friends ( two tape recorders and transitions of a„turn down-turn up”type ). Then - in a high school - two cd players came with the same kind of mixing. The prom and midpoint parties were equipped with some simple mixer and that’s all about the history.
Since a while I start to make my biggest music dream come true – which means I finally stood on the other side of a cocnsole. At the beginning I had a crude equipment which was a Hollywood console and Bechringer DFX69 efector but I sold it and bought a STANTON SCS4DJ console which is much better. With a little steps I grind my skills day after day and now can see it’s not easy to make a 70minutes long set with no „swallowings” and no „horses”. It’s a great thing to play a few hours long event and pick up a crowd of many thousands for a trance fun. I give my respect to all DJ’s who do it really playing from console not improvising – which happens more often at the events.
My first real party I played in February 2012 in a ECETERA PUB and June 2012 I began playing in CECH JAWORZNO CLUB as a support to DJ MALVI (Planet Zabrze), DJ SILENT (Spiż Katowice), DJ PACO (Spiż Katowice), DJ BOLID (Spiż Katowice). Finally I included residensure in CECH JAWORZNO CLUB so 2013 has started very dynamically for my progress.
In January I played at partys in JEDYNKA CLUB Bielsko Biała, LAGUNA CLUB Myslowice. I also played at WOŚP in Jaworzno as a member of DJ MARTIN’S DJ Team with DJ T-BROWN SHOCK. I was invited for a B-Day Party for DJ CORETOX in ARCHIWUM CLUB-Tarnowskie Gory where I played with DJ AVRIX (Tarnowskie Gory), DJ MATTEO(Tarnowskie Gory), DJ LUCK (Pszczyna) , THOMAS SUN, DJ AJUŚ(Zabrze), DJ MALVI(Zabrze).
I played at a B-DAY PARTY for SEBASTIAN MATT on a CITY PUB CLUB in Katowice with SLAVEE SADOWSKY ( dj, producer & manager in a Mlyn Club Lubliniec), DJ DEV (City Pub), DJ KEV(Tychy), SEBASTIAN MATT (City Pub).
Mean time I’ve changed my equipment. Now I’m using 2x800 MK + DJM 600 which has always been an object of my desire.
This year has just began and I believe this phrase will keep in fast progress...
